Jack Frost by Rixari Jack Frost by Rixari
EDIT: I've redone pretty much this entire costume, so it looks much better now. ;u;
New shots:

On Tumblr --> [link]

HAHAHA I BET YOU DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING /shot
My Jack Frost costume I made for Anime Crossroads. I was running around all weekend without shoes on. I am not bright.
We tried to take some photos at night since my staff lights up but it was rainy all weekend so there was worms all over the ground but I didn't see them and omg I must've stepped on so many worms ew ew ew

I'm already planning on getting a new wig, since this is just my old Allen Walker one. ;n;

Photo by the lovely ~331060 because I kept making her go back outside despite how cold it was to take more pictures lol.

I'll get to comments and replies tomorrow maybe. I may just let them sit because I feel weird replying to people after waiting over a week /sob

i really like how you used a dark sweater isntead of light- because most people who attempt jack try getting light blue sweaters. the frost on your sweater looks very natural and really amazing! Did you spike just the ends of a white wig tho? Because im trying to style mine- and im having huge trouble because i have it in my mind that i have to do these dramatic spikes but your wig looks amazing for jack and doesnt look too spiked at all! the background and angle are both really good choices for this character and costume.

Thanks! I was super picky about what color the hoodie was, since it's actually quite a dark blue in the movie. c:
(although I've redone the hoodie since this photo since I wasn't happy with the frost)

I actually don't remember how I styled this wig since it was almost a year ago lol. I've redone the wig as well since I personally felt it wasn't spiky enough (it looks like this now: fav.me/d60sifh )
For the wig I'd just recommend dividing it into sections to spike using hair ties to get a general idea of how you want it to look before you do any styling.  Although if you're not wanting it to be super spiky, you could just spike the ends like you said. It really just depends on how you want the wig to look. c:

I used PVC pipe and bent it with a heat gun and it's wrapped in masking tape for the wood texture and painted with acrylics and spray paint. I also used EL wire so it lights up too. c':
